Bah Humbug

I hate Christmas when it starts so early. What is it with all this stuff starting in November? Christmas is from Christmas eve until the 12th night in my book.

Anyway, we're away for it this year. We're leaving Harry and Pads next door, Alan our barman and Mick at the YHA up the road to keep an eye on the place and occasionally we'll dial into the CCTV system to check on things - wonders of modern technology eh?

Meanwhile, have a very merry Christmas, don't spend too much then you'll have some to spend with us next year. We hope you all have a very prosperous new year, again, only so you've got more to spend with us, and lets all hope for a gorgeous summer next year.

Mid week breaks might just be that little treat you can afford when the finances get tight.

Yes, that means we're shut. Till when? Some time in January.
Why? Because there are not enough people about and because staff and heating cost too much.
Oh, and because we work every other holiday in the year.
