Brewsed

Well we've been open one weekend. We've got another coming up, starting tomorrow. Yesterday Dave got well over 2 UK brewery barrels worth of wort in a fermenter, which the yeast cells are already going crazy about. The beer will be ready just in time for our eager, willing apprentice brewers who arrive on Tuesday.

We are opening from 3pm tomorrow and will be open 11-11 Saturday. Sunday we will open in the afternoon, but will then close down in the evening. We will then be open for booked meals Tuesday - Thursday Evening before opening up on Friday for the full week of half term.

Here is a view of Harter Fell, just across the road from us. It's amazing how many people ask if we get cut off in the winter. No, is the answer. We are too near the coast and in a snow shadow. It's a shame, we like snow. We seem to be suffering a snow shortage compared to everywhere else.
