The Woolpack’s relaxed and comfortable atmosphere offers the warm welcome you’d expect from one of Cumbria’s most historic inns.
Our pub offers cosy corners around a wood burning stove, and somewhere for everyone to find the perfect space. We have lots of smaller tables for couples or families, with bigger tables dotted throughout for groups of friends to congregate. Perhaps we’ll find you propping up our new mahogany bar enjoying the perfect pint.
If you’re feeling competitive, we have a games room with pool table (for all the big kids) and if you need to keep in touch there’s free wifi available throughout the building.
For the summer months, and those bonus sunny winter days we have an attractive beer garden and a large children’s play area. There’s a secure place to store bikes and a room to dry clothes, and well behaved dogs are also welcome in the bar area.
